DHI-INFRA Limited, a subsidiary company of Druk Holding and Investments (DHI), is a public limited company formed in January 2011 under the Companies Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan 2000 based in Thimphu.
It is established to promote and develop the country's infrastructure projects to accelerate the socio-economic development of the country.
The main objectives of DHI-INFRA as reflected in the Articles of Incorporation are:
To carry out all necessary studies and implement on prioirty basis the Amochu Land Reclamation and Township Project (ALRTP) and carry out other infrastructure projects including those that DHI hands over to the company.
To carry out all its business independently or through Joint Venture Partners, Special Purpose Vehicles and/or any other forms with local partners and/or with foreign investors based on open competitive and transparent selection basis.
To develop capacity for managing Private Capital Investment (PCI) projects.
To leverage its assets and borrow/raise funds as may be required to carry out its mandates based on DHI guidelines.
To carry out all such other mandates as directed by DHI Board and Management.
